At Montgomery Chiropractic Wellness Center, our services are geared toward providing professional quality care. When you visit our office, Dr. Montgomery will perform a thorough case history to learn about your problem. From there, a very thorough examination will be performed to determine what could be causing your health problem. In many cases, further examination is indicated via x-rays. Our philosophy is "To see is to know. Not to see is to guess ... and we're not going to guess when it comes to your health."

After a complete analysis of your exam findings, Dr. Montgomery will sit down with you and explain everything to you in language you can understand. From that point, if you choose to pursue chiropractic care a detailed plan will be created for you including - frequency of chiropractic spinal adjustments, in-office & at-home therapies to aid the healing process, as well as any nutritional recommendations.

Explanation of Services:

Spinal Adjustment - The goal of chiropractic is to find misalignments of the spine and pelvis. The act of gently and specifically realigning these ares is what we call an "adjustment." This is not to be confused with a spinal manipulation. A manipulation is non-specific and typically not gentle. Manipulation could cause undue stress on areas of the spine that are functioning properly leading to further problems.

Therapies - We offer a wide variety of therapies to specifically tailor your plan of care to your particular situation so that you get the most out of your care.

• Therapeutic Massage - We have a massage chair on site to reduce muscle tension.
• Interferential Therapy - This therapy is a favorite of most patients. Using electrodes on the injured area, a slight current passes through the area to promote blood flow, eliminate toxins, and to reduce pain by stimulating endorphin production.
• Ultrasound Therapy - This therapy is used to speed up healing in damaged tissues.
• Therapeutic Exercises - A specific exercise regimen to strengthen weakened muscles and promote stability can be prescribed for your individual needs.
• Cervical Traction - We use many methods to gently restore normal spinal curvatures to enhance stability and health.

Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis - We are pleased to be on the cutting edge of health care as Dr. Montgomery is studying the field of Functional Diagnostic Medicine. There are many tests available that can help us determine where your body is malfunctioning and tell us precisely what needs to be done to improve function. We don't use drugs, but all natural nutritional supplements that the body is in need of to work like it is supposed to. This new field of healthcare is helping scores of people who have been unable to find help elsewhere.
